An elderly neighbour of mine who i went to check in on today was absolutely raving about last nights game. He reckons the football Barca played was on a par with what Brazil served up at WC 70 and he kept banging on about the Spurs team of the early 60s with Blanchflower, Cliff Jones, Jimmy Greaves, Dave Mackay etc saying that although they didn't win a lot of silverware they played better football than anything the great Liverpool, Leeds, Manu or Arsenal sides ever did, and that they'd have given that Barca team last night a good run for it Well i wasn't really in a position to agree or disagree on that one as i honestly don't know much about that Spurs team but surely thay weren't that good??
