fair enough - i noticied this in belgium i think it was - that everyone has a bike but no-one owns one :hahaL - they are all just the same ****ty old battered bike - and i watched as people would ride up, get off their bike and leave it outside a shop - walk in the shop for 2 mins, walk out and just get on any bike without checking and ride off happy as larry. then someone else will come along looking for their bike for about 10 seconds, and then just get on whatever bike was closest

noone cared, there where bikes everywhere, all unlocked and it just seemed to be there for anyone

yeah i've noticed it in holland, belgium and also dortmund - places were its flat so everyone just rides bikes - those horrible ones with no gears and springs under the seat for suspension haha - little shelf thing above the back well for you to tie your basket of bread and cheese too

it is a fantastic idea - i guess cause all the bikes are the same noone really cares - but where did they all come from in the first place haha
