I honestly think that he could come to serious harm if he tries to go to the game. The backlash from everyone has been pretty severe. Newcastle fans as a general rule tend not to be the most astute but even they can see that there is something seriously off with this. Also the club are apparently refusing to pay Hughton any compensation, something that's not sitting well at all. The feeling is that he's been sacked solely because Ashley wants to bring in his inferior mate. It'll kick off big style against us (both literally and figuratively). Just shows how thick Ashley is, makes a phenomenally stupid decision the week of a sell out home game Great timing, Mike.
