sounds as if he's not staying in england.

don't think it affects us much. probably can't be talked into staying in the area, and man city will probably look at bringing in someine in better form, and with a a better injury record than torres for that kind of money.

These rumours have been around for ages. He's been thinking of quitting for ages apparently. But then again is this just Kia Jorabowotsit engineering a big money move?

I did hope that he would join us at one stage, in fact, i thought it was a real possibility.... especially with his mate here (at the time)

But he's going to end up either in Spain or back in Argentina..

If he moves back to Argentina then no one can call him a mercenary. Then he would turn down at least £15m-£20m that he easily would earn if he stayed.

I don't think anyone can complain that much about the on the pitch mentality. It is the off the pitch mentality that is a big question mark when it comes down to some players. Masch always worked his socks off and so do Tevez.

If Tevez moves back to Argentina to be with his family, then fair play. Maybe he is tired of football then no one can really complain about it.

Well actually they can... the club have every right to complain. They've been incredibly patient with this man who earns a ****ing fortune to play football.

Contracts work both ways. The club has every right to be well ****ed off with him. And consequently the fans.

You can virtually guarantee that he'll be putting huge pressure on the club to accept a low bid, or even accept a loan deal during the january transfer window. Similar to what Masch did.

All true...................but as with all these situations, he benefits from initially signing a contract for a set number of years both from a financial/security/insurance point of view. Pay the piper......have no sympathy for any footballer in these cases.

Spoke to A city supporter a while back. He said Tevez's family are not even in this country and he misses his family whom have no intention of setting foot into this country, also having been in this country for best part of 5 years now. His spoken english has not changed nor has he really attempted to learn the language. Not sure how much of it is true

It's pretty funny that the NOTW journalist Neil Ashton is getting so much **** for this story on Twitter, despite the fact (I think) that Tevez's agent has confirmed the story.
