If he moves back to Argentina then no one can call him a mercenary. Then he would turn down at least £15m-£20m that he easily would earn if he stayed.Originally posted by johnly View PostThese rumours have been around for ages. He's been thinking of quitting for ages apparently. But then again is this just Kia Jorabowotsit engineering a big money move?

I don't think anyone can complain that much about the on the pitch mentality. It is the off the pitch mentality that is a big question mark when it comes down to some players. Masch always worked his socks off and so do Tevez.Originally posted by kris90210 View PostAren't argentinians supposed to have a good mentality?
If Tevez moves back to Argentina to be with his family, then fair play. Maybe he is tired of football then no one can really complain about it.Stop the cyberhate

Well actually they can... the club have every right to complain. They've been incredibly patient with this man who earns a ****ing fortune to play football.Originally posted by Arn View PostI don't think anyone can complain that much about the on the pitch mentality. Contracts work both ways. The club has every right to be well ****ed off with him. And consequently the fans.
You can virtually guarantee that he'll be putting huge pressure on the club to accept a low bid, or even accept a loan deal during the january transfer window. Similar to what Masch did.K ris90210

All true...................but as with all these situations, he benefits from initially signing a contract for a set number of years both from a financial/security/insurance point of view. Pay the piper......have no sympathy for any footballer in these cases.Originally posted by Arn View PostI don't think anyone can complain that much about the on the pitch mentality. Spoke to A city supporter a while back. He said Tevez's family are not even in this country and he misses his family whom have no intention of setting foot into this country, also having been in this country for best part of 5 years now. His spoken english has not changed nor has he really attempted to learn the language. Not sure how much of it is true
