Mourinho - Winter of Discontent

Of all clubs in world football, Real is the last one I can see Rafa at now. In many ways I think Rafa's time with us, his understanding of the way Shankly, especially, worked - and Ferguson too - has consolidated his view of the manager being in total control of the club. Don't know why Mourinho was expecting something different than what he's getting at Real. Same for Rafa I suppose at Inter - maybe they both let their egos get the better of them.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

I don't hate Mourinho as much as others, if he were to take over i think he'd do just fine.Originally posted by NigelLG View PostBut you didn't answer my question. Wouldn't he be as divisive as Rafa in doing so?
He worked with a smallish budget at Porto and made them European champions. Most of his players, staff and the fans of his teams seem to love him.
I think Rafa would be more divisive then Mourinho.Last edited by Imy; 22-12-10, 01:50 PM.We come not to play.

) cannot dismiss the key difference being that, when you're winning everything, the political stuff is far more acceptable.
