Better first 11 - that's up for debate. Not much in it in my opinion.
Much as i dont like saying it, i think we'd have a difficult time trying to argue that ours is better than their's. They just won the double last may, we finished 7th

They look in big trouble at the mo, thin squad, Drogba going through the motions, ageing players, Essien looks like he's had 1 injury to many, the Wilkins saga.

Advantages for them are theyve played Arsenal twice, Mancs still have to go to the Emirates, theyve been to Anfield the Mancs still have to come here, been to WHL Mancs still have to go there and they've got to play Utd twice, but they need to sort themselves out and starting in the next game, anymore dropped points in the next month or so and theyve had it.

With (bar one player) the same team that finished 2nd with 86 points in 2008-09.

I know you like a good argument you old ****, but let's just agree that the difference is minimal

I think Andy Gray said they've dropped 23 points already.

Maximum points is 114 and the winners usually get 85-90. Probably be less this season, but if it's 85, then that means the winners can afford to drop 29 points and chelsea have already dropped 23.

Chelsea clearly need to sign a couple of decent players to freshen up their squad if they want to defend the title.

I wonder if Drogba and Kalou have their minds elsewhere at the moment, the situation back home in Côte d'Ivoire is not good at the moment. Drogba looks like he's lost his hunger completely

Political turmoil and violence, they are on the brink of civil war (again)

But I see what you mean. And what's their record been like since we played them? I can't remember them winning a game since.

But saying that, people mug off our squad or our team, I don't think it's any worse than Chelsea's. We've actually probably got a better squad than they have.

They've imploded. Terrible decisions from the powers above have left them in this mess. I just hope that either Arsenal or City can stop United now, because Chelsea are ****ed.
I think the problem at Chelsea is a bit like the one at Inter - aging squad who have little to prove, not freshened up in the summer, young players not ready to carry the team and some injuries too.

Not helped by the whole coach sacking shenanigan.

It's odd hoping they get it together in January.

                      How dare you.

I agree. I don't think Carlo has had money to spend on players he wanted at all over the last 2 years, more likely they have been choosen for him. That Brazilian was not his signing and I think he came out in an interview not long ago that his hands where tied. They definitely need competition for places within the squad and new quality players to freshen things up massively.
