Arsenal good bets for the title, played all the top teams away, only a trip to whl to come.

City look to have confidence now. Spurs are showing backbone. United always grind out results. Chelsea will come good soon.

I think there will be a significant change in the table before long. There will end up being a chasm between the top 5 and the rest.

Been a terrible Xmas for Liverpool. None of the top teams, other than chavs, seem to be dropping points. That said Roy will be happy. 11th with games in hand over everyone below. Mid table safety
      Forwards.......

Unfortunately, Arsenal aint gonna win the title.

They always look good in the first half of the season, threaten to win the title and play good football. Then they always collapse in March, claim that it was one year too early for their 25 year old 'kids', and prepare themselves for more of the same next season.

When you break it down, there's nothing incredible about it.

Players lost: Carvalho - consistently brilliant for them, a rock in defence

Ballack: was getting on a bit but he still played a big part for them, experienced and all that.

Deco: by no means a key player for them last season but in certain games he was used and played well.

            Injury problems:

            - Terry, their leader who has had major injury problems this past few years.

            - Lampard has missed a large part of this season, where do the goals come from midfield when he's not there???

            - Essien's also missed alot of this season and he's the heart of their team when fit.

            - Alex, unsung hero. He's been badly missed, esp when Terry's been out injured with him.

Players that are 32/33: Drogba, Anelka, Lampard...still great footballers and by no means finished but for them to play week in, week out at their age and with their injuries is a big ask. Then there's Terry, Cole and Malouda who aren't far behind age wise.

They desperately need new blood in the January transfer window.

How the **** does anyone field a team without strikers? ****ing hell

And how the hell does Carlton Cole get dropped after scoring 2 goals for the first time in his life, last time out?

You would understand if they had an injury crisis but they have Saha, Yukubu & Beckford on the bench

Any money they still manage to look a more attacking side then us though.

Yes, it's incredible that the league champions are now looking like struggling to ensure a top four finish, you dullard. Nobody would've predicted this back in the summer.

Unless you're going to claim to have done so, when you obviously didnt.
