Dickhead - we wanted someone else BECAUSE you were a particularly **** manager. If you'd had us in the top four, nobody would have wanted you out, you ****ing useless tit.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Of course he was worse than useless and deserves a lot of crap but here he's clearly referring to people at the club. It's perfectly possible they thought and still think he's a good manager but, as he himself has pointed out elsewhere, the fans didn't want him and maybe that swung it for the decision-makers in Anfield.

Also I wouldn't have wanted him even if he had somehow massively overachieved and got us into the top 4. And I doubt I'm alone on that.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

If that was a decisive factor, the owners wouldnt have waited so long to get rid - he was sacked because results and league position were appalling.

Managers live and die by results, dont they? If we'd been top four, i dont know on what grounds people would've still wanted him gone.

Well, you could ask me then rather than relying on your imagination.

You do know that the world doesn't work entirely on your particular logical framework, don't you?

And you do know that when i post stuff and dont go through the tedious process of adding 'IMO' to every little thing, it doesnt mean that i think what i've posted is the universally accepted viewpoint, dont you?

And i'm very sorry that i didnt 'ask you', i didnt sit behind a notepad for hours deliberately choosing how to post it in a way that'd annoy you, it was just how i happened to phrase it.

And people accuse ME of making issues out of nothing and 'looking for an argument'

Of course, I know you know your viewpoint isn't universally accepted. That doesn't mean you think there's room for doubt though.

FFS Neil, are you just looking for a pointless argument over nothing?

If you are, please seek someone else for it. Thanks.

                  Same here.

He would never call any of our players cause he cannot spot the quality footballers even when is looking at one

He was brought in to improve on a 7th place finish the previous season, with a squad it was believed was under performing, and was given a chance to bring in his own players. After half a season we were in 12th place playing worse football than ever and the players he signed stunk the place out, of course the fans were on his back. He was doing a **** job and deserved to be sacked. If truth were told he deserved to be sacked before he was because it was clear he was out of his depth.
