NO, HE WASN'T.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post

It's a very cathartic thread. This complete and utter cunt nearly killed off my love of football for good so it's good to get rid of all that frustration and have a good laugh at his expense. It's incredible, truly incredible, that this cunt was once our manager.

I'm successfully convincing myself it was all a horrible nightmare.

He made me not wanting us to score, it was that bad. In the last few months especially, when it had become apparent how galactically incompetent he was not only as a manager (which *could* have been forgiven!) but what a complete and utter abomination he was as a human being and the disdain with which he treated the whole club and what it stood and stands for, which is not only its beautiful and sometimes tragic history which spans from one end of the universe all the way to the other, but most of all the uniqueness of its fans. And how he - after having had had Rafa who died by the sword for us fans in light of the abhorrent owners and shed light on the whole truth of what really had been going on - repeatedly used it as an excuse for his own failings. Utter. Cunt.Last edited by sean_lfc; 19-12-11, 08:00 PM.

Well put. I remember thinking it was alright if we'd lost and hoping it would hasten his exit. He survived about 3 months longer than he should have and that was solely due to the new owners finding their feet. And we were so **** to watch, even when we did win we had normally played so badly. And the ****e he used to spout post match... (well he still does just at West Brom). Hodgsons era was as close as I have ever come to giving up on football.
Modifying post.
