Actually I think that you guys are being too harsh on Woy.

He was out of his depth at a club like ours. But at a smaller club trying to overachieve he is in his element. Managers have a natural level. Graham Taylor was superb in charge of a small club (watford) trying to overachieve. Put him in charge at the top end either in club or international football and he was way out of his depth. Just like Joe Royle.

Woy will do ok for them

Come on man, you thought he was a great appointment and shouted about it til you were blue in the face. Then you pulled a disappearing act as Hodgson's **** got smellier and smellier. No wonder you're so sour about it.

I'm really not sour at all. You seem to dislike him because the 'old boys network' and SSN do like him. Great stick that is to beat the man.

I think he's a good manager. I stand by that. I accept I was over the top in lauding the chap originally, but that was due in part to my relief that Rafa had departed. I also thought he could harbour that fighting team spirit here which he had at Fulham and get an extra 20% out of them. I was badly wrong on that one. He wasn't up to the job and shouldn't have been offered it.

Now we have Kenny who is 10 times the bloke that Rafa could dream of being. Notice how Kenny is quick witted without putting the backs up of every journalist and opposing fan? What a pleasure life is being a Liverpool fan right now.

My 'disappearing act' was due to something much more serious that bothering to post on a ****ing football website.

Anyway keep on being funny its what you do best and and I'll keep on ****ing off people since it appears that what I do best.

I dislike him because he nearly caused terminal damage to LFC. He was a massive boil on the arse of the club but thankfully he was lanced before he could spread his disease any further.

Not at this level he's not. He's ****e. 3 jobs in the Prem - the first one he turned champions into a relegated team, 2nd one he did alright and about as well as Chris Coleman did, and 3rd one was unmitigated disaster. He's ****e.

Yep, and what a good job it was Rafa had the nous to bring Kenny back to the club. Had he not been involved in the club he may well not be our manager now.

What, an argument with Nigel? This was your last post for a couple of months, just as Hodgson started plumbing new depths. And the new lows kept coming, and coming, and coming!

I don't care anymore tbh, I'm steering clear of this place for the forseeable. Its more depressing than working the smaritans helpline. If I was answering calls today I'd tell them all to jump or swallow the whole ****ing bottle of pills.

Have fun all, when you've run roy out of town and got rafa back, the seas will part and world peace will prevail.

He has found his level. This is an indication to all the tits in the media who were spouting ****e like "he needs more time" and "he'll get it right eventually"(Parlour, Lawrenson, Merson, Barnes et al) that they were all ****ing wrong. He is not a "top" manager and should not get anywhere near ANY decent team in any league in Europe. Was there a stampede for his services from any of the Valencias, Bayerns, Arsenals and Marseilles etc of this world? No, not in a million ****ing years. I hope he takes them (WBA) down. Sorry. Silly me. It's not his team and he didn't buy the players did he? So it won't really be his fault ,will it? ****ing ******.

I'm just glad he is no longer with us, he was an unpleasant manager, a poor manager and he made supporting Liverpool feel like a punishment and not a pleasure. He was the worst Liverpool manager ever with a record to back it up and he his personality just made that oh so much worse.

This is the "Joke Time" thread from that WBA site. Tread carefully some of these "jokes" are so funny you may die laughing. You have been warned.

yes Nigel the amusing cunt that he is got the better of me and I left in tears.

For the record after receiving some news of the not good sort a few days prior to that last post it seemed an apt time to leave this place alone for a while.

Anyway, moving on...clean slate and all that....the fans should be united at last since things are looking up both on and of the pitch.

what i find strange is that you defend RH but seem to really dislike RB.

if you want to be balanced shouldnt you be balanced about both?

also whether you like RB or not you should be able to recognise that he had a better record here than RH.

I do agree that RH isnt the worst manager in the world. We were the wrong club for him and though i could see the safe pair of hands logic of appointing him, the reality was nothing like that.

he may keep WBA up i think its more his level.

I wonder where the awful manager RB will end up, i have a sneaky suspicion that it will be at a bigger and better club that WBA

Get on WBA to go down. Even where he did well like at Fulham, he starts slow and loses lots of games initially. West Brom don't have the time. This is a bad appointment in my view. They can also pretty much write off half the games they have ie the away games.

At the moment they're not a bad price to go down. Grab it while you can.

Rafael Benitez isn't an awful manager, far from it. He's a better manager than Roy and I'm sure he'll get another job and do reasonably well. I hope he does. As a person I have respect for the guy.

I'm just elated that Kenny Dalglish is now our manager. When he speaks he does so in the true Liverpool way, with total respect for us and our opponents, all done with a touch of class.
