      Of course.

Even though if they'd stuck with Di Matteo he'd probably have kept them up. They weren't even in the relegation zone when they sacked him.

I honestly thought he'd come into that job in about March or something, and just had about 10 games to keep them up. Didnt realise it, but he actually took the job at the end of December 2007, so had basically half a season.

        His results:

        Birmingham (a) Drew 1-1
        Chelsea (h) Lost 1-2
        West Ham (a) Lost 1-2
        Arsenal (h) Lost 0-3
        Bolton (a) Drew 0-0
        Villa (h) Won 2-1
        Middlesbrough (a) Lost 0-1
        West Ham (h) Lost 0-1
        Man Utd (h) Lost 0-3
        Blackburn (a) Drew 1-1
        Everton (h) Won 1-0
        Newcastle (a) Lost 0-2
        Derby (a) Drew 2-2
        Sunderland (h) Lost 1-3
        Reading (a) Won 2-0
        Liverpool (h) Lost 0-2
        Man City (a) Won 3-2
        Birmingham (h) Won 2-0
        Portsmouth (a) Won 1-0

So incredibly, he actually won 3 away games in a row????

Which means, of his 13 away wins in english football ever, 3 of them came consecutively and one of them was for us, Bolton away. So that just leaves 9 others in his whole career

I cant believe he won 3 away games in a row

        His Fulham league record:

        Home:
        P9 W3 D0 L6 Pts:9

        Away:
        P10 W3 D4 L3 Pts:13

He literally had half the season (19 games) and he had a better away record than home record Who the **** would've bet on THAT statistic???

I bet he was in utopia after those three away wins.

And by the way, his 19 games brought home a total of 22 points - and Sanchez only managed 14 points in HIS 19 games, so the Hodger was clearly a utopian success

Quite clearly a record that could have been equalled only by his good friend Sir Alex.

Didn't he come in after Lawrie Sanchez? If so anything he did would have made him look like a footballing guru. That said starting with a run bringing in 6 points out of 30 available must have been an eye opener. The mind cannot comprehend what ****e he would have been coming out with in his press conferences during that run.

Ah FFS quit whinging man. You sound like an ex-colleague of mine, bloke in his 50s who like a lot other brainwashed idiots thinks Hodgson is "class". Of course he predicted great things for LFC under him. I plaster my Facebook with a lot of anti Hodgson stuff and it really gets under his skin

Anyone would think you'd vouched for sacking Rafa and replacing him with Hodgson the way you carry on.

                            Oh. Wait.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

See Shaggy, you may mock his record, but those fulham stats prove that his 'sit back' approach (which he obviously employed for away games) yielded more points than his 'expansive attacking' ( ) home style

I'll be laughing all the way when he becomes England's manager. He will, it's only a question of time. All those cock suckers at the LMA and the FA will get him there, I'm certain of it.
                                Are we winning?
