Roy Hodgson was pleased to come away with a point as Carlos Vela's late goal salvaged a 1-1 draw for West Brom against Stoke, but had to say sorry for an incident in the tunnel after the final whistle.
Rory Delap's header put the Potters in front early in the second half before Vela stepped off the substitutes' bench to equalise after 87 minutes.
It is the second successive game the on-loan Mexican has drawn the Baggies level, after he earned a 1-1 draw against Wolves last weekend, and the point lifted Hodgson's side out of the bottom three.
But it could have been even better as Vela then had a couple of opportunities to snatch all three points for West Brom at the Britannia Stadium, only to be denied by fine saves from Asmir Begovic.
But Hodgson revealed that he had to apologise to Stoke after one of his players - named by Potters boss Tony Pulis as Jonas Olsson - lost control of their temper and smashed a picture after the match.
"One of our players has unfortunately decided to test his strength by having a little fight with a picture," Hodgson told Sky Sports.
"I'm afraid he won and the picture was broken which is disappointing.

"We apologised and I'm sure we'll pay for the picture. I'm sure Stoke won't be too bothered but it takes the gloss off when I'm discussing pretty meaningless incidents and we've worked as hard has we have.
"I'm pretty sure Stoke know what an emotional game it is and won't hold it against us."
Hodgson also admitted after the match that, while his side could have won it at the death, he was satisfied with the result.
"I think you have got to be pleased when you come to Stoke and get a point," he said.
"At times you thought we could have even taken all three points, but it was a good team performance and I am very happy with that.
"I am happy with a point also because at least it keeps us going in the right direction."
Vela's goal was lucky to stand as replays showed he and Peter Odemwingie were offside, but Hodgson thought it was fortune that his side deserved.
"Whenever you have a goal like that against you, you consider yourself unlucky," he confessed.
"I couldn't say whether or not it was (offside) but whenever you concede that type of goal you have the right to be frustrated or angry.
"With the number of chances we created and the number of opportunities I think one goal is the least we could expect for our efforts."
