    Hadn't seen those quotes

So it's all because he lost these mythical 'two games' ...what an arrogant, deluded *******.

He puts losing the games down to "misfortune"

He always knew we'd finish top 6, 7 or 8 once we got our players back ...what ****ing players? We were doing okay for injuries, certainly nowhere near as bad as last season.

    He is utterly deluded

It sounds like he is trying to re-write history to me 8th was the highest position we'd been in under him all season, yes we then lost 2 games (his 17th & 18th league games), but in his last 9 games we only won 3 and drew 1 and lost 5. It wasn't just two games so he can **** off.

It also sounds like the deluded ****er is blaming his results on injuries despite his quote about no-one could do a better job with that squad

He always knew we'd finish top 6, obviously he always knew he would get sacked then. Because after 12 out of his 20 games in charge we were in the bottom half of the table.

EDIT: I'm not sure where that rant came from, just reading those quotes really pissed me off.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Thats the quote that gets me. What the **** sort of aim is that. To finish 6th,7th or 8th. In my mind every Liverpool manager should be aiming to win the league, anything other than 1st should be seen as a failure. But he seemed to view getting 8th or above as a success. Were not ****ing Fulham.

A real blot on our history. A shocking appointment all things considered and shows that business people should stay the **** away from footballing decisions.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Whilst I shared/share a lot of peoples doubts about his ability to manage us the constant attacks seem unwarranted. He'll save West Brom and given their form when he took over that will be a solid effort. He was woeful for us and his attitude was an awful fit but I still think he is a decent man and manager of less ambitious teams.

He certainly talks very freely and his self justifications can be a bit annoying but I find it hard to work up the hatred everyone else seems to feel.

Each to their own, but for me it was just the way he constantly lowered expectations, came out with the most inane comments and generally sat there rubbing his face that actually made me hate him.

Also, Shaggys videos did not do this self proclaimed 'King of The LMA' any favours.

His Smint obsession did get pretty tiring.

I think he's smug and isn't a gentleman at all. I can understand the hatred now. I hate him.

to be fair to him we are the 6th best squad in the league. then there's the upheaval of a new manager (him) which may cost us a place or two. its a pragmatic view.

but yeah. he's ****e and thank god he's gone.

I don't hate him and I don't find his self justifications annoying. Rather I think they're laughable.

I'm sure you're right about his impact at West Brom but giving him credit there doesn't mean he isn't a f*ckwit (OK Fernandinho? ) when he talks complete b*ll*cks about his time at LFC.
