Exactly - England don't deserve him. How on earth the media and the average fan can champion for Redknapp, Hodgson (and a while back) Allardyce, yet mock Benitez and Capello etc. Even Sven did a decent job.

Wenger could finish this season with Arsenal (I think his time is nearing the end) and then go onto manage us from 2012 onwards. Ideal.

Good point actually mate. I have a horrible feeling that Rafa will end up there once Redknapp inevitably joins England. Hope I'm wrong.

Does nobody think they are a threat with him as their manager? I think they already are and given their previous managers him going to England could actually be a massive positive for us.

Of course they're rivals for fourth at the moment. Whether they're more of a threat if Redknapp leaves soon depends on whether they get a better manager.

I know a few Spurs fans and inevitably they all think Benitez is crap.
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I think they clearly are a threat at the moment, but as I said, I think they would be more of a threat with a better manager.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I hope not, if Redknapp gets the England job maybe Hodgson can move to Spurs

              Definitely the best case scenario

I just want Hodgson to go away. I don't want to see him manage England or Spurs or anyone. I don't want to see or hear a word from him ever again.

He's had a pretty decent record against us in the last few seasons tbh, he's probably the best English manager at the moment. There are young managers out there who may have more talent but it's just as much about handling the big name players and pressure of being a top four team. He seems to be coping pretty well, sadly

Although, agreed, there's not much competition

On the serious note, imo if 'Arry becomes next England manager I think Rafa (if Mancini is not sacked by then) will be Spurs manager.

Ancelotti seems more likely to me.
