    Steven Pienaar

Can't believe we're not in for him @ only 3 million pounds! Apparently going to Spurs. He's a Kuyt with more pace & skill - I think for 3 million it would be a no brainer...
    Thoughts??
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Noble for 4million would be good for squad as well.

            Again better than spearing.

I guess Everton would make it very difficult for him to move to us, and that shouldn't be too difficult if they have alot of clubs interested.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He'd have to force the move but would Everton really turn down £2m-£3m just to spite us? The fans and manager would probably like to think they would but I'm not so sure their board would allow it. He would really have to force their hand though.

I'm sure he'll have they'll have quite a bit of interest for that price, so can't see you'd be first choice to sell him to.

While there are a number of other clubs interested, IMO it would take either him forcing it through or us being prepared to pay more than anyone else. Unless either of these happen, while there are a number of other clubs prepared to pay what Everton want I can't see it happening.

Hasn't he signed an agreement with Spurs?

A humble guy with healthy desire.

It's looking likely, which I'm pretty chuffed about.

In fact I'm more pleased with him as a signing than Beckham... Not meaning to say I don't want him, I think he'll be good for the club.

With Bentley and Krancar looking like they're on their way out, Pienaar's certainly in with a chance.

Depends on what Lennon's form is at the time, but it certainly stengthens us up in a positions we're soon to be short in.

What cracking & shrewd signings Bentley and Krancjar have proved to be for 'Arry.
