Just flicked on ESPN to watch the second half and he says all the thoughts and prayers of all the man city players and staff are with someones name that I couldnt make out but it sounded like Neil young which I know he didn't say but who is he talking about and what happened??

I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

It was the kind of gesture that provides a useful reminder of how generous in spirit football fans can be. Many of those wearing red and black scarves at the Walkers Stadium on Sunday had probably never seen Neil Young play, but they knew of his role in Manchester City's history, and they were touched by the news, which came before Christmas, that his cancer has been diagnosed as terminal.
