Should Chelsea not be in for the Olympic stadium? So far it seems that The russian owner has lost interest in his club. Would it not be a good thing for them if they had bid for it, won the bid, sold Stamford Bridge for retail or a housing development and he left.

    no?

Not really, they would want there own purpose built stadium surely. Itll go to west ham, and keep the running track.

If spurs get it, it will be a joke. As if there going to rename themselves Stratford Hotspurs.
    *Except Michael, who died.

Arsenal used to be based at Woolwich Arsenal, where Charlton are now (souf London). Maybe they could be Hotspurs.

As a rear wheel skid myself I'm having a real battle between heart over head with this one... Financially it makes perfect sense, will make the normal pressure of a new stadium that little bit easier and it's only a few miles away from where we currently are. Also Haringey council are utter ****e and rely on us far too much. They've done nothing to improve the area of Tottenham at all.

However, we'd obviously be moving away from our spiritual home and dropping the word Tottenham from our name really doesn't do anything for me.

Also, we've given Arsenal stick all these years for being nomads moving up from Saff Landan. Although we won't of moved as far as they did, it'll make us look like hypocrits.

Stick to the point and use a bit of perspective.... How does 'buying every player on the planet' make us hypocrites?

I can guarantee that's definitely not going to happen... If the move goes ahead and we do need to make a name change, I reckon we'll just drop the Tottenham.

I believe Arsenal used to be called Woolwich Arsenal before they moved.

Surely if a name change is required, it'll just be Spurs.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Chelsea were said to be interested in the Earls Court site a few months back. Don't know if that's still the case.

I'm not sure we actually would, but some big mouth lawyer wrote an article saying how Tottenham (council) could do something about it if we didn't stay there. Not sure how much of it is true or even likely to happen.
