I though he looked a lot more relaxed yesterday and more like his old self. The last few times he’s played he’s looked quite tense and uncomfortable with the ball, but he looked much better yesterday.

He’s definitely a good option to have when playing this formation and looks better suited to the wide positions than Lovren, but with his injury problems and wages, I can’t see him remaining here next year.

I think both Johnson and Allen struggle when they have niggles and need to be physically almost perfect for a while to get up to their potential in matches. It certainly means there is always an argument against keeping either as a squadie long term.

The reason we were too slow in our buildups was our defence's inability to make probing forward passes ala Can/Sakho. I was hoping Johnson would have helped there but, though not making any clangers, his play was too predictable and slow. That's just what a smaller club sitting back squeezing the midfield wanted.

Not to say Johnson was completely to blame, I reckon he can do a job as long as he's next to Skrtel and Sakho and not Toure and Lovren.

I said he was **** that's my opinion but i've yet to hear anyone saying he had a very good game either? The way you're going on, you'd swear he played like Franco Baresi, Beckenbaur, Moore, Hansen or Skrtel.

Look man if you are happy with his performance and the pass rate, that's perfectly fine. I'm all for giving credit where it's due even if I don't rate the player but I didn't think he had a good game. I doubt many did either.

He's so slow on the ball and invites pressure onto the back line. He's been doing it for years. His defensive positioning is never going to improve & his attacking threat has all but diminished. What i'm saying is hardly breaking news.

But sure I'd say that because i'm a spammer and have ruin internet lives with my relentless spamming
