i can certainly see mclaughlin surfacing for us this year. sometimes i get the feeling he's building a mystery at right back, but i reckon when yo're a young player at a club like liverpool, you do what you have to do.

He wouldn't be the first. I hope his career turns out better though.

Not as far as I'm aware. Not whilst Kelly has been fully fit anyway.

He's a good player is Kelly. Thing is he's now what, 22 or 23? If he's to make a career here then his injury problems really need to get solved.

Not THAT bad. Assume late October will be the aim. Will almost certainly miss Swansea, Southampton, United, Sunderland and Palace.

He is not that bad, but yeah, very few crosses would come in from him. The one thing that have striked me with Wisdom is, that he seems very comfortable on the ball and he can at times actually take someone on.

I think we have decent backup for Johnson in Wisdom and Kelly when he is back.

The last time Skrtel played right back was against Spurs under Kenny, it was a total annihilation and Skrtel ended up getting red carded.

Toure at this stage of his career coming back from a groin injury doesn't need to be running up and down a wing constantly turning and putting increased pressure on the groin, I don't know how fit Kelly is but if he was fit he'd be my choice, but least we know wisdom is match fit
