I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Forlan to #Spurs seems a growing possibility. Heard that Spurs talked to his agent last week and £15-20m fee plus 90k-week wages could do it

What a lucky day for Newcastle. £35m plus Stephen Ireland looks to have failed his medical #nufc
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.
Atletico Madrid are understood to have rejected a last-minute Tottenham's offer for striker Diego Forlan.
Spurs reportedly tabled a €15million (around £13million) deadline-day bid for the Uruguay ace on Monday in a late attempt to bring him to White Hart Lane.
However, after a meeting of the Primera Liga club's directors, Atletico have spurned the offer.
A source at the Spanish club said: "The offer is insufficient for the quality of our player."
Uruguay international Forlan has been with Atletico since arriving at Vicente Calderon from Villarreal in 2007.
Atletico's fierce local rivals Real Madrid had an offer of £13million rejected last week for the striker and instead opted to sign Emmanuel Adebayor on loan.
Forlan has only notched eight goals so far this season, but impressed at the World Cup last summer, playing a key role in Uruguay's campaign.
Tottenham have been linked with a number of strikers in this month's transfer window as they bid to strengthen their frontline.
