I'm not going to wish him good luck. He's a phenomenal player there's no doubt about that. He's injury prone and has a bad attitude, I think we'll miss him much less than we thought we would. The Chelsea supporters don't seem that bothered about signing him and he certainly won't enjoy the adulation he experienced during his time as a Liverpool player. At the end of the day it's just about money, don't try to dress it up as anything else. I'm just thankful that we have owners prepared to reinvest, if H+G had still been here the Torres money would have been used to repay the debts.

At the end of the day, if Suarez and Carroll adjust and settle, then we wont miss Torres.

We'll have TWO forwards to rely on for goals, plus Stevie and Dirk.

Better for the sum of all parts, as long as the new boys hit the ground running.

Pressure on Suarez, as Carroll knows the PL inside out, so he wont be phased.

But then, the attention is all on Carroll now, so that makes it easier for Luis too.

Quietly optimistic. I trust Kenny to utilise them best, to get great results.

I just hope Gerrard isnt going to sulk about Torres going.
