      As I have said.

I don't blame Torres at all for leaving and that he got tired of all the **** that we been through.

The people I do blame and would happily piss on are Gillett, Hicks and Purslow.

The three people that took the club down so far that a player that love the club, the fans and the city now signed for Chelsea.

Would he have done that with better owners the last couple of years and if the club had been ambitious? My answer would be, no chance. He would have been a Liverpool player at least the next two three years.

From his point of view then a move was the best option.

Would he have left if we had signed Suarez at the start of the window and sacked Roy mid November? Who knows but it would have been a hell of a lot bigger chance that he would have stayed.

To show ambition the whole time 24/7 is the key if you want the best players to play for you.

Should be spending more time in the Andy Carroll thread than the Fernando Torres now a Chelsea player thread. He's gone **** him, close thread

...for all those times you got injured with Spain whilst LFC & the fans paid your wages, and subsequently made us drop vital points when we needed you.
...for letting LFC & Rafa make you a world star and cement your place in the Spain squad.
...for showing gratitude that LFC let you have surgery so you could play for Spain at the WC whilst we sacrificed a top four finish and the Europa League.
...for leaving LFC with less than three days to look for and sign a replacement when you could have done it earlier.
...for all the loyalty you shown over the years especially when you said you wouldn't join any other English club.
...for giving Kenny a chance to rebuild the squad and giving a partnership with Suarez a go.
...for all the trophies you helped us win.

I talk a lot about ambition but that really is the key word to success. FFS, even our Captain that we know is totally in love with the club almost left for Chelsea at least one time. That say a lot about how "big" we are.

FSG need to show ambition 24/7. This window isn't enough. They need to show it window after window after window. They need to show it by building a new stadium.

FSG entered a situation when they needed to act fast and make some big decisions. They didn't had time for any kind of honeymoon thing. They didn't had time learn the basic stuff. They needed to act fast after they bought the club.

They should have had a CEO ready from more or less week one. They should have known about our current manager and our current situation from day one. They should have had a plan from day one. Every day counts.

They should have had a new manager lined up almost straight away after they bought the club. They should have had a plan.

Now they started to work on that AFTER they bought the club by the look of it. That was to late. The plan should have been ready from day one.

The time it took for FSG to learn the basic stuff cost us Torres IMO.

Roy should have been fired the same week they bought the club. They should have known about his CV and our current situation. They should have seen how small time he was before they bought the club.

Ambition is the key word. Ambition 24/7.

I totally agree with all that, but the bit in bold Even more so.

I remember saying so often, during the Hodgson era, when people were saying 'they will take their time, not rush, and see what they want to do' - and i said 'fine, but it will cost us Torres' - well the chickens have certainly come home to roost now, havent they? Let's just hope Carroll and Suarez can take us further.
