i can't bring myself to say thanks and don't think i ever will - yeah he was great for us, scored some magnificent goals and part of me understands how he feels with the way the club had been run but we loved him and he ****ed us off right when things started to look like they might be turning round for the better for the first time in years.... so **** him...
he's dead to me now and i may be bitter in saying this but i hope he goes on to do **** all with his career at chelsea, struggles to settle in, struggles for form and fitness, and becomes the biggest flop in english football - all whislt andy carroll goes on to bang in 30 goals a season and we win the leaguei own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Couldn't care less from now on how it goes with Torres, he means nothing to me now.
And it's the reason why I think this thread should not be a sticky, it should just slowly fade away as Torres will in our history and menories.

Look at what he said at the start of the window. He obviously was prepared to stay only a few weeks ago. Something changed since then.Originally posted by Bender View PostRubbish what was his reason for handing in a transfer 3 days before the window? why didn't he have the desency to see out the summer with us...........haven't yet heard him say anything about us just how he's joined a top club and have nothing but praise for the chelsea strikers ...............**** him
What changed? FSG acted small time in the transfer market making laughable bids for players by the look of it. That is what changed. It looked like yet another small time thinking window for us.
Would we have upped our bid very much to get Suarez if Torres hadn't acted in the way he did? I doubt that. We would probably acted small time and not upped our bid enough to get him.
FSG need to act quicker next time.
Torres reaction got us Suarez IMO.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

Arn, we aren't Chelsea nor are we Man. City. We are better run than them. I think FSG did really well. The transfer window in January is to blame, it's practically impossible to make sensible deals because clubs will drag their feet until the last minute, unless you pay silly money.Originally posted by Arn View PostLook at what he said at the start of the window. At the end of the day, we broke even, so the risks are minimal, on a pure business perspective. Our long term strategy of investing in young players, the academy, will stand us in good stead. Thank god that our work at the academy started a couple of years ago, it's not a rebuilding job which is starting now.Are we winning?

I praised FSG because they spent all the money on new players. They showed that they don't are prepared to write off the season just yet.Originally posted by Bender View PostHold on Hold on in this thread your slagging FSG off saying they were to slow and in another thread your praising FSG ........not sure what yor point of view is
FSG have done a few mistakes.
One of them isn't acting quick enough in the transfer market.
They should have had a plan for more or less everything from day one after they bought the club.
The stadium is another thing they should have had a ready plan for day one after they bought the club. That decision should already been taken a long time ago with naming rights etc.
Now they only have a couple of months to get everything ready so they can start to build it in the summer and that is a must.
They simply had no plans at all for the new stadium by the look of it and that is laughable.Stop the cyberhate

I praise them when they deserve it and kick em up when they deserve it. The same I always do with all the players for example.
Everyone know that I have said a few bad things about our Captain but if he started to deliver then I would praise him because he deserves it.Stop the cyberhate

Agree with the first line. What do people expect him to say in an interview with Chelsea's TV channel?Originally posted by Arn View PostBecause more or less every striker say the same in the first interview. Basic stuff.
IMO everyone that don't believe that Torres still love the club don't know what he/she is talking about. Love doesn't have anything to do with it. Ambition do.
Gillett, Hicks, Purslow and FSG ****ed this one up big time. Blame them, not Torres for leaving.
I blame Hodgson.Oh I don't know.
