      Just to make sure I understand, saying someone looks like a tranny is homophobic? Or is it not that it's amusing that a man looks like a woman regardless of sexuality. Even drag acts play on the not very feminine man dressed as a woman, are they homophobes too? Jesus lighten up people.

        What I dont like about the whole Tranny thing is that we hated it when everyone did it about him when he played for us. Now he has gone people think its great. Football fans can be as fickle as players.

          Nah, that's simplistic I think.

          It's not being used descriptively or neutrally, it's being used as an insult in its own right or as an intensifier.

          It may or may not be conscious and may or may not be reflective of someone's views but it's totally unnecessary and outdated.

            Looking at the whole picture, our part of it and Torres part would help.

            That is one thing some fans simply don't care about. They look at it from their own selfish egoistic point of view. Only our point of view.

            Torres is a professional player and his responsibility is to look at what is best for him, not what is best for us. If he would look at what is best for us as priority one then he would be more than a little unambitious.

            He want to get better all the time, that is ambition and excellent mentality. Sure I would have loved it if he had stayed but at the same I understand his situation.

            Suarez is now considered a fantastic player. Many of the same fans will when he leave consider him as a Judas. Laughable.

            They play for us a number of years because we pay them good money and are a big club. If we don't are ambitious enough then they will move.

            Nothing to do with loyalty or love. It is called ambition.

            We lacked ambition. Torres didn't.

              I thought that the tranny was funny at the time and had the 'Torres in Pink' mock up as my avatar, I can't see why people are getting wound up with him being descibed as a tranny or a bender, FFS get a life - if your that touchy, you shouldn't be attending any football matches anywhere, anytime - precious...

                  I think people need to forget this now. One of our new boys hit the ground running last night, and the other one will soon do the same.

                  I cant wait til Sunday is out of the way, and the whole pointless focus on someone who has no influence on LFC will be gone.

                  All this **** with anti torres songs and stuff, is almost as pathetic as their plastic fans singing about 'getting one over on us' more than about celebrating their new signing. So lame and pointless, we're focusing on the wrong thing.
