    Arsenal for the title

So basically any slight preference for chelsea winning the league over the mancs has completely disappeared... neither must win the league at all costs otherwise I will have avoid sports and news broadcasts for 3 months.

Since my wife's local team would have been Woolwich Arsenal (if they were still there) I'm hoping for Arsenal to win the league.. although she's a spurs fan so won't like that...

So my plan to demolish the 5 point gap is that the scum draw twice with chelsea and then lose to us, arsenal and man city..

Sat 12 Feb Man Utd v Man City
Tue 01 Mar Chelsea v Man Utd
Sun 06 Mar Liverpool v Man Utd
Sat 30 Apr Arsenal v Man Utd
Sat 7 May Man Utd v Chelsea

    Arsenal won't win it.

    They always implode.
    Oh I don't know.

Hopefully mancs will start to implode. Houllier knows how to get something at old toilet.

For me Arsenal or City to win league and Barca to win CL and I`ll be happy.

I fear Arsenal will do their usual trick of making people believe in them, before collapsing.

        Shame really.

I wouldnt WANT City to win it, but it's the lesser of the other 3 evils, if Arsenal **** up.

            Yeah, obviously and absolutely

But it'd also feel sweet if Chelsea won **** all and even more so, if they finished outside the top 4, as unlikely as it is.

It really would. Tbh I have been looking for Arsenal's results after the scummers for a few months now, since Chelsea really slid away. I fear they will crumble as per usual, but you never know. Second choice, City, then Chelsea.

Arsenal would be a bloody pain as it would only fuel the bumlicky Wenger stuff...it's quite nice to answer all that endless sycophancy about his spending (lack of it), the myth about kids etc with the fact they haven't won the league for ages. Or any sort of trophy. Although they'll end that run soon in the Lager Cup it won't validate all the Wenger stuff. The league would. And we'd never hear the end of it.

But it's definitely the lesser of four evils. Sadly I don't think they will, they'll **** it up as usual.

City would be unbearable, nouveau-riche style. They're already cocky as **** as it is, and living here I get to see it at its worst. The only pleasing thing about them winning the title would be the fact it'd piss United off even more. It'd put their nose right out of joint.

                  But they've no chance IMO.

Chelsea would be horrendous for obvious reasons, but I hope Torres is lifting it in May and then he never wins so much as a raffle after that. He'd only have been there less than half a season anyway so couldn't take too much credit.

It's just so damn depressing that it's come to this.

Meant to say I think Chelsea have a better chance than most think, especially now they've signed Luiz and Torres. Two wins over United and they're right back in, and I think they will beat them twice too. United are unbelievably lucky to remain unbeaten and I think their bubble will burst, and when it bursts it'll really ****ing burst. I see them dropping points and just hope Chelsea can go on an all-conquering run, starting after next Sunday.

Nor do I ideally but if it's a straight choice between that or United winning 19, then there's absolutely no competition for me.

It would be all the funnier if he picks up an injury that keeps him out for 6-8 weeks. He'd be struggling to get enough games together to qualify for a medal.

Also, just because Roman has bought him, doesn't mean Ancelotti wants to play him. There could be another stand off a la Mourinho and Shevchenko there.

That's a very nice scenario. Chelsea win the league and Torres doesn't get a medal
