Fabregas yet again show what a scumbag he is

Everton manager David Moyes said the Arsenal captain should have been sent off for his comments in the tunnel at the Emirates when the Toffees were 1-0 up thanks to Louis Saha’s controversial goal.

Fabregas himself came out and admitted comments had been made ‘in the heat of the moment’ but escaped punishment after Mason chose not to include the incident in his official match report.

The Daily Mail has now alleged the Spaniard shouted at officials: ‘How much have you been paid?’ before accusing an opponent of cheating.

The Arsenal skipper released a statement on Wednesday rejected claims he had a history of being disrespectful to officials and claimed comments were made by players from both sides at half-time.

The row centred around Saha’s goal for Everton, which both managers later admitted was clearly offside.

In his statement, Fabregas said: ‘Yes, I was upset at half-time. So too were about 60,000 Arsenal supporters in the stadium. We were one-nil down against a very good Everton side to a goal which we felt was offside. Of course I am going to be upset. Players from both sides were saying things as we came off the pitch, and this always happens in football.

‘I’m passionate about this club and like all the players want to win every single match, so many things are said in the heat of the moment. Clearly the officials feel that nothing serious happened, as I understand the referee has not included anything in his match report.’

Over rated and arrogant. Never had much time for this lad and he once again proves what a tosser he is.

      Perfect summation

His dive to try and get a penalty against Ipswitch the other day was just pathetic and he really should have been booked for it. Can't see Arsenal winning the title this year when they play a team bottom of the Championship at home and need their best player to dive.

        Not doing himself any favours.
Be interesting to see how Wenger deals with it if he gets bring more controversy on himself.

Wenger always backs his players, as he's doing with this case too. He wont do anything.

Fabregas will be off to Barca in the summer anyway.

I don't think he's overrated. Would love to have him in our central midfield pulling the strings.

He has come out and said there is a 'witch-hunt' with Fabregas! That guy is so myiopic it's untrue.

He also said after the game that he stood next to Fabregas and he didn't hear him say anything. Then today he said that lots of people say stuff in the heat of the moment and it is Moyes in the wrong for reporting it, suggesting Fabregas DID say something.

I'm all for supporting your players but when they do something wrong they should be punished, it's Wenger's double standards that wind me up.

Not saying he doesn't back his players but at the same time he doesn't suffer fools lightly - stripped Gallas of the Captaincy when he started acting the petulant, spoilt brat.

He isnt going to sanction Fabregas because he is too important for them.

To be fair, the ref didn't include it in his match report and Fabregas hasn't been charged with anything so it may very well have been blown out of proportion.

He's brilliant but underneath the act he does seem like a real spiteful little cunt.

'Scumbag' seems far too strong to me. He's not exactly Kevin Muscat or Marlon King.

I suspect any criticism would be far more muted if he played for us.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Fabregas is playing like he wants out of the premier league and out of the club. With Torres with had the sulk and with this guy its the antics

Meh, Wenger has let big players go before, he doesn't strike me as the type to beg a player to stay.

Of course he'll be desperate Fabregas stays as long as possible but he always puts Arsenal first and does what's best for the Club. Like all good managers.
