My at West Brom tells me they're going to appoint Matteo di Roberto.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

      Terrible decision.
A newly promoted team and WBA haven't been in the bottom 3 since the first weeks of the season.
Horrendously short sighted, Di Matteo will develop into a really good manager in my opinion
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

And also, Hodgson is the king of midtable mediocrity (as well as the LMA ), which would be great for WBA.

I expect he wants the LMA annual awards gig.

              (Skinner not Hodgson)

Mid-table? i think 17th place will do just fine for West Brom

They'd take midtable for sure but they've had an attacking, fluid way of playing all season and I wonder how those players would take to his hideously regimented style of play. If they had a pre-season to work on it then they'd have time to try and get used to it, but for him to go in in February and attempt to make his (skid)mark on the club then I'd have my doubts.

Well yeah, 17th would be good, and midtable would be great, as i said.

True, they have some fairly good attacking players - Brunt, Thomas, Morrison, Odemwingie and they got Vela til the end of the season so they're capable of scoring goals.
Although they seem to to way too soft and lacking in organisation, not sure if Hodgson is the right man to get them out of trouble tho - could maybe do with a ranter and raver.

Roy now hot favourite for the WBA job according to SSN....load of bets etc

Makes me absolutely sick that he is now referred to as "the former Liverpool boss" (rather than Fulham, just another reminder of one of the two worst mistakes our club has made in modern times).

The flip-side of that 'former' title makes me smile though the King
