Thanjk you.

Kenny doesn't seem to be a big fan. I would not mind seein' him getting some playing time. He's better player then what he has shown thus far.
If he can get the confidence back (certainly Kenny, if he fancies him, can assist there) and stay healthy he could help us in climbing up the table.
It's nothing to do with KD not rating him.. Cole is carrying an injury.. (Knee) It's been a problem for a while and he's aggravated it again. KD hopes he'll be fit soon and as said that is really wants him back on the field as he feels he will offer the team something extra.. SC also stated the same in a earlier interview..

It would be nice to see a bit of Pacheco before the end of the season. If not, I think he'll move on soon.
Imo it'd be too early to write him off. Loan him to some other PL team next season and see how he would cope playing regularly and full time. If he cannot cut it then sure sell him.

I don't think it's so much us wanting to get rid but more about him needing to play. We nearly lost him cause of bodge and he hasn't played this season which is a shame. If he doesn't get game time soon I think he'll ask to leave and who could blame him?

I don't necessarily think he'll ask to leave but he'll ask most definitely to go on a loan (similar to what happened last summer) and I would go along with his wishes but only in either other PL club (e.g. Blackpool would be for example imo great place for him) or Championship club (just like Ayala) for either 6 months or up to the year.
He seems to be a very decent talent it would be ashame not to allow him to try to prove himself before we make a permanent decision.

a loan deal next season would be in both parties best interest imo too. he should still get a few sub appearances this season i hope
No Steve no idea and the article did not state that either.
Here is the reference Kenny made about Cole:
One of the players who has yet to fulfil his potential at Anfield is summer signing Joe Cole.
The England international arrived from Chelsea on a free transfer and promptly got himself sent off in the first match of the season at home to Arsenal.
After serving his three-match ban he had a run of games in the side before a hamstring injury in October sidelined him for six matches.
Since returning in the Europa League draw against Steaua Bucharest on December 2 the 29-year-old has played a full 90 minutes just once and has yet to play for Dalglish, having been an unused substitute for three matches last month before his latest knee injury.
But the Reds boss remains hopeful Cole, when fit, will be able to add something to his rapidly-improving side.
"Obviously he got off to a bad start when he got sent off in the first game," said Dalglish.
"He lost a bit of the momentum he gained and he's picked up a few injuries but was training really well here and then just tweaked his knee a bit.
"He'll be a bit frustrated but so are we because it would be great to see Joe on the pitch.
"But, given a bit of luck, he shouldn't be too far away and I'd have thought if we get Joe Cole fit and available, he'll be a good asset for us."
If Joe does return with anything like his best form it will be like having a new signing. I'll not be holding my breath as we've seen in the past that some players find it hard to remain injury free when they get older. Hope I'm wrong but
Shame for the lad though. Thought he was showing flashes of what he could do. I still have high hopes for him. Perhaps the rest and a decent pre season will see him flourish next year.
