      Yep.

      Shelvey seals loan switch

Liverpool have confirmed Jonjo Shelvey has joined Blackpool on loan until December 31, 2011.

The 19-year-old will spend the remainder of the year with Ian Holloway's Championship side and could make his debut against Bristol City on Saturday.

Shelvey has made 22 first-team appearances for Liverpool since moving to Anfield from Charlton Athletic in May 2010.

Have any of our player ever benefited from going out on loan? I mean young players that have come back and become better players?

He isn't going to make it.

I think he will make it, he is pretty young. Players going on loan can make or break them. It worked for Wilshire and Beckham. There two expamples off the top of my head. But Im sure there are more.

MUFC players did so I don't see the reason why our players wouldn't.

The bottom line is that for their age they are better off playing competitive football in good league than get few minutes with the first team here and there and try to impress with reserves, which is even worse than going on a loan.

I think Spearing and Kelly are the only two players that has been on loan and features regulary in the squad.

Didn't Defoe go out and have some crazy run of form somewhere. Think he scored in 10 consecutive games for Bournemouth
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
