Aye, I cheered when he did it and am smiling now just thinking about it.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Joking aside it is a bit different fans doing that. Players doing it shows a lack of class and reflects poorly on the clubs image.

I bet Suarez also gave him a huge pat on the back for it too (after the disappointment of losing the game had subsided) .

Fergie deserves nothing but profanity from us. Can't stand him

I know what you mean but it's done - he apologised and that's it. The fact fans might bring it up and like him for it isn't going to encourage him to do it again.
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Perhaps he should take a leaf out of Wayne Rooney's book, sorry wee Wazza.

Insua springs instantly to mind. Should never have been sold and would've benefited from a season on loan and coming back to us.

Letting Messi and Iniesta go was a mistake

It is madness as Allen should be out before Shelvey!
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Nick, with all due respect... seriously though there cannot be one person on here who isn't aware of your opinion on that subject. A quick glance at your post history reveals what would not be unfair to term an obsession.

I hereby challenge you to make 10 posts on this site in a row without mentioning Joe Allen once.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                      Mine angry and defrauded young?

I'm sorry that I don't accept mediocrity at LFC, especially at ridiculous prices! Without Sturridge & Coutinho, Rodgers' transfer record would be absolutely chaotic...

I love the if you ignore nearly a third of the evidence .......

Also I think chaotic seems a very odd choice. There seems to be pretty good logic behind the Borini, Allen and Sahin deals even if they didn't work out or you don't specifically rate those players. We needed players in each of their roles for sure.

Well, duh, yeah possibly. If you take away the successes from the record of anyone doing anything anywhere then it's going to look sh*t.

                              Circular logic. :rocjL

I agree, just as without Alonso and Garcia Rafa's first season transfers would be absolutely woefull, not to mention his second season disregarding the purchase of Pepe and Crouch looks horrendous!
