    Everton

Just been thinking really.. If they don't find an investor within the next year, they are really going to be in trouble aren't they.

They've already lost Pienaar for buttons and looking at their squad they don't have many players that they can make money on and when you look at the age of some of their players, they will need replacing shortly.

    Tim Howard - 31
    Phil Neville - 33
    Joseph Yobo - 30
    Tony Hibbert - 29
    Leighton Baines - 26
    John Heitinga - 27
    Sylvain Distin - 33
    Diniyar Bilyaletdinov - 26
Mikel Arteta - 29 next month
    Tim Cahill - 30
    Leon Osman - 29
    Marouane Fellaini - 23
    Jack Rodwell - 19
    Louis Saha - 32

Then they are really only left with Anichebe, Vaughn, Beckford who IMO are not good enough players.

The players in bold are the only players I see with a sale value.

    have you missed out Jagielka?

I'd take baines, jagielka, fellaini and probably rodwell too for us - they'd improve our squad.

But yeah they are the 3 or 4 worth anything - An everton fan told me that they had to send the yak out on loan as he wages for the 2nd half of the season were about £500k and they owed £500k to the bank or something?

they are all calling for moyes head too
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Heitinga and Arteta would probably fetch around £10m between them. And Cahill would bring in the best part of about £8m or so, if they decided to sell.

Seamus Coleman looks half decent IMO. However your right, otherwise they're not looking too pretty.

Yeah completely forgot to add him to the list, was going to mention his form since his injury, really doesn't look the same player. Yeah same here with hearing Everton fans calling for Moyes to leave, its been this way every other month for about 3 seasons. A few have even been saying that Rodwell hasn't improved as much as was expected, what do they expect from someone that is 19!

Why the **** would they want Moyes to leave? He has done bloody well for them on a shoe string budget...

The thing is, due to their financial position £18m for them players really isn't worth selling because they won't be able to re-invest it all. Tough times

I'd go as far as saying if Everton have not won of a weekend I've heard at least 1 person saying he should go for over 2 years now.. Insane

Just saw this on the BBC site and thought, it couldn;t happen to a nicer - I mean an uglier - person:

Everton captain Phil Neville says the Blues are now in a "dogfight" after Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Bolton.
After their eighth league loss of the season, David Moyes' side are just three points above the drop zone.
"Rather than looking up we're in a real dogfight and that's me being honest," Neville told BBC Radio Merseyside.

Everton are in deep trouble, according to a mate of mine who is an Everton season ticket holder they sold the ground off a few years back and the season ticket sales just about cover the rent, and they are in a situation where they have to borrow money on the security of TV revenue to pay wages. He feels they'll have to sell at least a couple of their bigger players in the summer just to stay afloat (he's saying Fellaini and Rodwell).

Until Kenwright sells them the threat of administration looms, and they says that Moyes will leave them in the summer too.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Kenwright wont sell up as he wants to keep control. He wants someone to invest but him stay in charge. FFS if the likes of QPR can get inestment EFC should not have any trouble.

This is exactly why i find it somewhat bemusing people strongly dismissing the possibility of Baines joining Liverpool.

If it's true they'll find it difficult to turn down decent offers down for anyone. The best they can hope for is if us and someone else wants him aswell so they can get a bidding war going or accept their offer over ours.

If Baines is available, other clubs will come in for him - so why would everton sell to us unless it's stupid money?

You seem to keep avoiding this question.
