His so called foul on Abiati was just one of those things, two players going for the ball in the box, from the replays I saw you couldn't even tell if he had been touched, he just held his head as he walked away and then comically fell over when they tried to put him on a stretcher

He's that much of a coward as well he piled straight into Gattusso just after the little **** was having a go at him
I meant the earlier incident after just a few minutes.

This one. Amazed that he didn't got at least a yellow card. He isn't even looking at the ball and is protecting himself with the elbows.

Compare that with Carroll that use his body to win the ball instead of the Crouch way, using the elbows.

Crouch is and always will be a coward.

              In fairness Arn,
a still pic can sometime make things worse than they actually are, but is certainly does capture Crouch's rather awkward way of jumping.
I've never thought about him being malicious though in that action, but his gangling way does lead to a lot more free kicks being given against him than he should allow himself.
Souness, I felt, had a great opinion on why Crouch is a relatively poor header (and jumper) of the ball years ago. He has never had the need to develop the skill during his initial formation as a footballer, always playing against kids his own age, towering above them with no need to position/fight himself into position. Its something he never had to work on, and it has followed him into the professional game, where he now has to compete against other professionals who have had to develop it in their game.

As for Carroll, he's a lad who has does jump extremely well and is obviously an excellent header of the ball, but he has no issues leading with a forearm into the back of a defender's head (or team-mate for the matter) when he needs to.
Expect multiple free-kicks to be conceded in European competition.

Milan even used Crouch **** positional sense and **** heading technique against him at the corners. The two great chances they created was because Crouch lost his man both times and in one of them he completely missed the ball when he tried to head it away.

Don't understand your hatred of Crouch. Seems totally unfounded and inexplicable. Also Rafa Benitez was the man responsible for bringing Crouch to the top level, when 99% of football people thought Crouch was a joke. So I'm surprised you don't recognise Rafa's pivotal role in making Crouch the footballer he is today - a prolific international goalscorer and a proven CL scorer.

Shame he can't score in the league.

Crouch doesn't use his arms more than any other striker. It's not his fault that defenders heads are too low.

I don't hate him. I just don't like players that act the way he do in game after game. He is also a totally money oriented player. If ???? offered him £150k a week to play conference league football then he would most probably accept it.

Crouch is a top player and would get games and score goals for any squad in England, including Arsenal and the mancs.

                          He's a 1 in 3 man with 136 goals in 350 games. Not bad.

And his England record is simply ASTONISHING with 22 goals in 24 games.

Wish he was still at the club. We would have won more football matches with Crouch in our squad this season, that's for sure.

                            Money orientated? That's ridiculous.

Suppose we had our reasons for moving him on (money/better options etc), but Crouch also had been bitten by the England bug by then IMO and clearly wouldn't have been happy to play follow-up to the Torres show with increased time on the bench, and he certainly couldn't lead our line in the way Rafa had the team playing. Fine holder up of the ball, but we needed the pace up top to best exploit our play.
Certainly would be a nice option to have on our bench right now though.

Is it not 136 in 430+ games ? Still a decent record for a supposed "joke"
