See i don't think he did look dangerous....if anything, Copenhagen made him look dangerous.....they had no real fight or bite or any desire to get close to him - it's quite clear, that torres is one of these guys you can get at as a defender - not like hit him hard and he hides type, but the kind that you can really frustrate with little ankle bites, shirt pulls, obstruction type fouls that stop him from moving etc - most teams in the prem will try and do that, sometimes he is so good that it makes no difference, but most of the time, certainly the last 12 months, he seems to crack and he just sulks and loses interest and throws the toys out the pram - copenhagen didn't try that at all

Copenhagen made a very average Chelsea side look half decent, nothing more nothing left - watching Torres at the moment it really does seem now to be more than being fed up with being at Anfield - he just doesn't look confident in his play at all, touch is woeful and there is just no time you'd expect him to skin his man.

The comentary on this match was amusing, it was according to them almost like watching a Brazil of the 70's and Torres being this in form super striker! For me he was a 5/10 player last night and that's probably genourous!

exactly - it was a dire match and copehagen were very very poor - it looked like a pre season friendly, and chelsea just cruised through the motions - in the circumstances, torres should have had a field day....new club not started so well, a real real chance to go and make an impact in the 'champions league' albeit against a ****e side and he didn't deliver.

But the commentary were desperate for him too score....

And thats why i really don't want him to score against the mancs.....there will be unbelievable scenes in the media celebrating the success of signing torres for £50m - i'd much prefer a a drab 0-0 and another torres stinker

a decent side, say Lyon last night I think would have caused them all sorts of issues, Torres as you said should have had a field day, instead he looked out of sorts and actually not that arsed - you'd think he'd work his nuts off to prove the price tag and to get himself off the mark

If he scores against the Mancs the headlines will be along the lines of "bargin of the decade" or something OTT like that - Sky have their favourites we all know that we're not one of them Chelsea are, so bigging up how good they were and how well Torres played is something they're going to do.

watched some of the game, but it really was cringeworthy the backing they gave to Torres.

So far he has looked exactly like Robbie Keane did for us......capable of the odd good touch but looks woefully out of his depth.
