    Great game to watch.

Don't agree with those who think Arsenal dominated the 2nd half. Song was lucky to stay on the pitch, I saw about 5 yellow card worthy 'tackles' from him in within the first 30 minutes.

Poor first goal for Valdes to concede...shouldn't of been beaten so easily on inside post. There was a player offside in the first part of Messi's goal but the ball wasn't played to him then and there was no one offside for the second part so Messi's goal should have stood.

Really can't see Arsenal getting a win/draw at Camp Nou. Barca will give them a good ass whoopin' - they always do. If you look at Barca's away KO stage results they aren't as impressive as you'd think - it's their home leg when they do the 'killing'...

Really such a poor competition these days - whatever happened to strong Spanish sides like Sevilla...Valencia....Villarreal....? The italians are woeful and there's ****-all coming out of Germany barring Munich.

      Dire.

0-1 when we'd done enough and switched off - not walloped in the first leg, when everything still to play for.

I was at that game. They had a player yellowed three times before getting sent off and another player called Sick.

Memorable for a long ranger and my mrs was nice enough to come with me. She'd applaud 3 seconds after other people did, god bless her. she used to stand on the Kop with her auld fella who must have really wanted sons.

That one is wrong - that scoreline would've seen them go out of the competition - and they won it that year.

He wasn't referring to me directly though.

I thought about that earlier. Sevilla, Valencia and Villarreal had all their top talent hoovered up (plus Riquelme going back to Argentina) and they're barely a threat anymore. The Italian sides are ****e, Bayern are struggling, French sides are ****e and the Prem is as low on quality as its been for ages. Rubbish.

Aye, it's very poor and feels like a downgraded version of a previously excellent product.

Italian sides suffer from the pedestrian pace they play at, as soon as a they play a team with high intensity they cant handle it, Spanish sides suffer with Barca and Madrid hoovering up all the money in TV deals. Its a shame Dortmund aren't in it, they are playing some quality attacking football and the French are, well, the French

You can see what will happen, Spurs Chavs and Utd all get through, Spurs and Chavs get drawn together and Utd get Roma or Shaktar play **** and get through to the Semis

How do Utd always manage to fluke an easy draw? Like England in the WC / Euro qualifiers and in the tournaments. ALWAYS fluke easy draws. (But england **** it up in the tournaments, which is great)
