    Hahaha

I cant believe anyone even decided it would be a good idea to sell these - let alone the thought that some dolt would actually buy one...

For European games yes, maybe. But for PL? FFS, what a ****.

liverpool do them too - outside the ground, for every game you can get a half lfc half whoever you are playing scarf.

Part of me things yeah it's a bit ****ing **** - but in some instances i could see why people would buy them...

on the face of it for example, why the **** would anyone buy a lfc/fulham scarf like I saw recently - but then for something like, ie you were taking a customer to the game who supported fulham, or you hhad a relative that was half liverpool half fulham fan - it'd be a nice present

Friendship scarfs are big on the continent, so tourists like them.

I was at the UEFA Cup quarter final at Anfield in 02/03 season when we were knocked out 2-0 by Celtic. At 90 minutes all the LFC fans around me had buggered off and I was left looking glum surrounded by a few groups of Celtic fans. One of them gave me their Liverpool/Celtic scarf as they passed by. I still have it but never worn it since.

I also went to a CL away game in Barcelona to follow the reds and ended up with a ticket putting me right behind the goal with the hardcore Barca fans. I still wore my Liverpool shirt BUT bought a Barcelona scarf to prevent myself from being battered. As it turned out the score was a boring 0-0 and the Barca scarf got me a few handshakes.

Which one was that? Had a few boring 0-0s with them. Was it the group stages in about 02/03? Baros came on and made his debut. I was there for that one...albeit up in the gods with our lot.

Yep same one. We had Heskey and Litmanen up front. They had Kluivert and Rivaldo in the team, with Reina and Xavi on the bench. I travelled out with my brother in law with the flight paid for in Sainsbury reward vouchers. Met an American in a bar the night before the game and he got us tickets from the club.
