You can't say the lad has ever lived up to the hype. The coverage he had when he was coming through, he was supposed to be Rooney before Rooney was invented.

Class little player. Think his loan spell at Bolton last season did him the world of good.

      Will only get better.

He does look like a fantasic prospect, great performance last night.

Low centre of gravity and great close control. He never seem to lose the ball does he?

Time for FSG to make Arsenal an offer they simply cannot refuse? Would be a massive statement of intent if we ever did get him, wishful thinking I know.

yeah i've been raving about him all year - cracking footballer - englands midfield looks bright at the moment - with the likes of Wilshere (19), Shelvey (18), McEachran (17) - already getting games for arsenal, liverpool and chelsea.....Plus Jack Rodwell (19) looks a great player and will probably move to United. there is probably a few i am missing

Great player and also shows that Suso would be able to survive in the PL without any problem. He isn't exactly that tall or strong. He got other attributes that makes it very easy to survive out there. Game intelligence, positional sense and great ball control.

The PL have changed so much that players like Wilshere and Suso can start to play in the PL sooner than before. It is now much more about technique and pace than being big and strong.

Wenger will never let him go, even for £100m. He'll resign if the club sells his best players.

i think a lot of teams have looked at barca and spain and realised that being 6ft 2, built like a brick **** house, and being able to sprint non stop for 90 minutes isn't everything -

As they develop they will get stronger naturally anyway. Main thing is they have the superior technique and ability on the ball.

Conner Coady looks the mutts nuts, as good as wiltshire at his age.

Did Wiltshire Captain the England under 18's?

I'm sorry but no he really doesn't.

Edit - That's assuming you mean Wilshere right enough.

Putting Shelvey in the same bracket as Wilshere is probably the most optimistic thing I've ever read on this website!

I watched very little of the match. who in the barca team would you compare this wilshere to? whose position would he take? Would he replace xavi in the future?

It's a strange one. Cause in his youth/reserve career you would have said Iniesta but this season he's being deployed much deeper and more in the mould of Xavi.
