Wilshere isn't strong? You've got that completely wrong. He might be short but he is very strong for his size and doesn't compare with Suso at all who I think would get kicked to pieces although I still expect him to make it.Originally posted by Arn View PostGreat player and also shows that Suso would be able to survive in the PL without any problem. He isn't exactly that tall or strong. He got other attributes that makes it very easy to survive out there. Game intelligence, positional sense and great ball control.
The PL have changed so much that players like Wilshere and Suso can start to play in the PL sooner than before. It is now much more about technique and pace than being big and strong.

Barca probably already have several players lined up in their youth/B team as the next Xavi.Originally posted by Tee View PostIf I was Barca I would forget Fabregas and get Wilshere. Looks far more like a Barca type player IMO, similar to Xavi and potentially his long term successor. My kebab comes with chilli sauce

Erm, no he wasn't Xavi completed as many passes as Wilshere, Fabregas & Nasri COMBINED!!! Yes he's a good player, he played well & is only gonna get better but Xavi & Messi were the 2 best players on the pitch by FAR! Like Spurs, Arsenal took their chances whereas the opposition didn't & both were lucky to come away with wins imo.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostBest central midfielder on the pitch tonight.
Also Arsenal only had 33% possession which is nearly half their home average of 60%!!Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

According to the Spanish newspaper El País, Barcelona completed 773 passes to Arsenal's 423. Xavi attempted 124 passes, completing 116. Seven Barcelona players completed more passes than Arsenal's best passer, Cesc Fábregas.
Messi was also incredibly unlucky not to have at least one goal to his name, maybe even two plus the assist.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
