Complete JokeOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostHow can Clattenburg claim not to have seen this FFS?

Clattenburg saying he saw a coming together and nothing more, when he must have seen it from every angle by now.
Funnily enough it was him who gave the Nani 'handball' goal against Spurs at Old Trafford
And as for Mike Riley backing his man and saying it was the right decision

Hardly going to gloat after yesterday am I? Could be a very damaging defeat in terms of moral.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostAnyone noticed how 'GraciousGooner' never puts in an appearance when things inevitably go tits up?
Don't understand the LFC double standards on the elbow mind. Didn't Gerrard do exactly the same against Wellbeck and Michael Brown, going unpunished both times. Does Arn not think this is corruption worthy?

How is it double standards? It's not like any of us elbowed that Brown cunt. Gerrard got away with that one big time. Rooney's offence is every bit as bad, though, worse in fact, and because Gerrard got away with it doesn't mean Rooney should. Guy's a total cunt, lucky not to be sent off every week. The FA are terrified of Ferguson, United and the big England players. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Not sure they could do anything as United's lawyers would have just highlighted Gerrard on Brown.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post

The corruption talk is laughable, they have **** all money anyway. They'd be advisable buying a decent midfield rather than risking getting relegated through bribing refs if they did actually have some. That's not to say the FA and referees arent intimidated by whiskey nose.

Yes, I think all the corruption talk is way over the top. I'm sure there are examples, but most corrupt in the world, I mean, what a sack of ****e.
What really pisses me off is that we have so many incidents these days where the official response is that the ref saw it, gave a free kick or yellow so nothing can be done, when it's clear as day that someone has got away with murder. 'Them's the rules' etc. Well change the ****ing rules then.
It would be a minor change without detriment, wouldn't undermine refs etc. System doesn't work so those in charge hide behind it rather than fixing it.

.
The UK does pretty well in the corruption league tables, which suggests corruption isn't particularly 'British' and yet we are supposed to believe Arn when he says the league is the 'most corrupt in the world'? More so than other countries where corruption is endemic to their society (which it most certainly isn't here), such as Argentina, Italy, Greece, Russia?
