    So, Arsenal or Man U?

It's looks more than likely that either Man U or Arsenal will win the league this season - which one do we all prefer??

Man U have been so much better than us for 20 years that them winning no.19 is a when not an if so as much as I hate the Mancs they would have deserved it.
I personally think Man U are on the way down, they are still heavilly relient on Ferdinand, Giggs, Scholes and Van Der Sar so my opinion is if they win this one it might be their last for a while.

Arsenal worry me in the other way that while I think they are average IF they win the PL this season it could be a catalyst to them kicking on and improving again, Fabregas might stay and it'll be easy to attract players.

So as much as I hate the Mancs I think that if they win this year it will be better for us in the long term
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

    oooh that's a difficult one...

Would be nice to think that History will show Ferguson got sooooo close to breaking our record, but having been pipped by Arsenal in what could have been his record breaking season, he then never went on to do it.

    If only eh.

Having said that, with City now on the scene with real spending power, and getting top 4 will help them attract even better quality, Chelsea looking to rebuild...and Arsenals young players hopefully maturing into a title winning side, it does give me hope that if utd did miss out this season, what with the years catching up on **** face Fergie, he may just miss out on surpassing our record, a long shot i know.

Then, after a title win for the Arse this season, then Chavs then City the seasons after....we will then hopefully be ready to challenge too.

      Got to be Arsenal.

Understand your point and agree that if the Mancs win it it'll be their last for a while, but it's an absolute no-brainer for me.

      Come on Arsenal.

I don't care that much though.

Also it'll only be their last for a while if the Glazers are still in charge and with their current policies. I can't help thinking we're being a bit overoptimistic to think Man United will simply be allowed to slide into mediocrity. Our trajectory was changed before it got terminally bad - I don't see why theirs won't be too.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I really don't get why so many people hate Arsenal.

Sure they're a bit arrogant in some quarters but generally i think they're one of the more pleasant Clubs around.

Their supporters are generally ****s (see you and GraciousGooner on here) or the "hoof the ball" bellends at their matches. Their manager is a classless ****, their players are petulant gob****es and they're usually a league rival.

Although it is mildly amusing that hoof the ball chant does annoy me i have to say.

Would be hilarious if Arsenal finish empty handed this season. BUT, I would have to say I would rather they won the title than Scum.

                      So, come on Citeh!!!!

Arsenal, no question at all. Of everyone above us they would be my first choice.

                          Utd.

Also hope Barca rape Arsenal in the CL before going out themselves.

                            Of course it's a no-brainer!

And as for Man Utd being on the slide: I agree they are, but those ****ers are so lucky that even their demise coincides with the demise of Chelsea, ourselves, and even to an extent Arsenal

Arsenal without a shadow of a doubt - but i'd cope if it was united - to be honest i've made my piece with them overtaking our 18 league titles some time ago - i see it that it might finally be a blessing in disguise and shake the club - the players, the management, owners and also the fans back into a bit of reality and be the catalyst to get back to the top.....we've clung on to that for what 20 years - it hurts to say it but we haven't been the best side in the country for 20 years.
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
