      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Neil is that for the goal or because it sent Man Utd down?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Always loved Rivaldo's third in this game. Just for how important the goal was never mind how good it was as well.

Just realised it is further up. But it is that good.

The Ronaldo goal for Barcelona is my all time favourite goal.

This one isn't too shabby however...

                        I think you can guess.

                        Clue: backheels are overrated.

No pics cos I dont know how- sorry. Anyone remember the Brazilian free kicks of yesteryear ?? Was it Socrates in the 70"s who took em ?? Anyway they were goals I drooled over as a kid . Much different ball as well and to be able to bend the free around the wall as they did was amazing . Was around the time Esso brought out the coins of the England team --now there"s a memory for you Brits .

It's my favourite club and the reason why I think that this is the best scored goal besides some of the goals scored by Gerrard is the importance of the goal. The goal was the crucial goal that gave my team FC Copenhagen the championship in 2001. The goal was scored against FC Copenhagens biggest Rivals Brøndby IF and the goal itselves is just so damn beautiful.
