For me though, he has to get the job, at a time of transition, we need someone who understands the club, I'm pretty certain there is no one else out there with the same credentials as Kenny in that respect.

Its heresy I know, but what if Mourinho became available AND was interested in the role?
I'd expect FSG to at least take a look before giving Kenny a contract, it's why they asked him to look after the side until the summer - see how he does and is there anyone better than him to come in.

You'd expect the answer would be a no, the situation the club is emerging from demands someone that can unite the club internally and with the fans - Kenny is that man.

With regard Maureen I'd rather not, we've just had one manager in Rafa that polarised opinion, another than everyone wanted out and I think Maureen would be similar to Rafa in terms of polarising opinion, we don't really need that at the moment - perhaps 3 or 4 years down the line when things are settled (hopefully) but this summer - no thanks.

Mourinho I begrudgingly admit is one of the best managers in the world, he also is a big name manager in that even without CL football he could attract/keep big name players.

It's only right that FSG keep their options open,

My top 3 (in no particular order)

      Mourinho
      Dalglish
      Guradiola

The likelihood of us poaching the Barca or Real coach's is slim, so Keep Kenny.
      We come not to play.

I don't think they will look around. I wouldn't want to undermine the confidence of the manager by making them think they are second choice.

I reckon they'll have a good chat with Kenny to confirm he's in the this for the medium term then appoint him full time.

i am 99% certain we will look around in the summer, and probably 75% certain kenny will be our first choice afterward. 90% certain our choice won't be undermined anytime soon.

Bayern had a lot of injuries. Robben have only played a few games this season and Ribery missed a few months, the defenders have been injured a lot this season.

Not a coincidence that both Bayern and Inter had a lot of injuries this season with a lot of the players almost not getting any rest at all.

Do you reckon this had any effect on Rafa's sacking? It was hardly his fault like.

Short term Kenny, long term we should break the bank for the Dortmund trainer
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

No. Stankovic and a few other c*nts made it an impossible job. They never gave him a fair chance by acting like c*nts.

If you believe Stankovic the c*nt of course.

Rafa is of course no fool and saw what happened and decided to leave.

Yeah. ****in cunts the lot of em. Could you post your favourite picture of Rafa so I can print it off? Mine is so gip-stained at the moment I'd be embarrassed to let another fan see it. God, just even typing his name is giving me serious wood.

                              Dear Arn,

Louis van Gaal, the coach leading Holland to the World Cup Finals in Brazil, says he wants to join a Premier League club next summer.

Van Gaal has been a serial winner with Barcelona, Ajax and Bayern Munich but says his career will not be complete unless he can manage in the *Premier League. He said: “I’ve achieved everything I wanted. I will quit as national team boss in 12 months and hope I can go to England. If there is not a club for me in the Premier League, I will retire.”

Van Gaal, 61, was close to joining Liverpool last summer before he became manager of Holland.

He has led Holland to the brink of World Cup qualification, winning the first six ties in Group D.

With four matches left, the Dutch are seven points ahead of second-place team Hungary.

I'm a massive Van Gaal fan and really wanted him involved in reshaping the club, but I don't think that will happen.

Would be a good choice if Rodgers get sacked.
First as manager the next four or five years and after that as our CEO.

I don't think he will join us. I can see him replacing Wenger at Arsenal.
