Wenger is someone who's certainly not tactically inept!

He is. He has one tactic which works wonderfully well on most occasions. However when it's not working from time to time, he hasn't got a ****ing clue what to do about it.

I would say he is tactically weaker than he should be, but not inept, not by a long way.

Maybe he is just too stubborn in his belief that his way will ultimately work. Must be great being a player for him because he must give them so much self belief, however he really needs to be able to revert to an effective Plan B when things are going pear shaped.

Also, his team genuinely lacks strong leadership. And I will say it again and again, that Fabregas is vastly overrated.

          Maybe???

Wenger's had several years to buy big and he's failed to do so...you don't splash the cash you'll get nowhere.

Every man and their dog and been bleating on about Arsenal's problem positions for years and years, yet Wenger has done **** all about it.

Ok he's bought players in but either for peanuts or players that are past it...or both...Complete joke and when Arsenal end up empty handed this season once again, Wenger can have no-one else to blame but himself.

I have always been a defender of Wengers ways and think very highly of him, however even as an outsider I think enough is enough now and there seems to be a barrier he can no longer cross. As a fan of Arsenal I would imagine it was similar to having a quieter Rafa as manager, excellent at what he does but flawed, they need a change and whilst I said YES to the poll what I would like to see happen is Wenger moves upstairs because he has done a remarkable job for Arsenal and deserves better than the sack. Unless he wants another job that is and then maybe it would suit him better as well.

Wenger has done one hell of a job at Arsenal. however look at the teams he had that won the league and you will see what is missing from this side.

How much money has he had available. I dont know. The way he has transformed the club is remarkable. Remember what Arsenal used to be.

However there does seem to be a comfort zone about the club. Do they want to win the league or Champions League?

if so something needs to happen as they wont do it with whats there at the moment.

Look at the mancs. weakest they have been for years but they know how to win. Not sure Arsenal have that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've hardly ever seen Arsenal play really good football.

Would another manager do better with the resources he has used? I doubt it and I suspect nearly all potential candidates would produce less attractive football too.

People will suggest that he had loads of money there that he didn't use but that is a pretty unprovable argument.

In order to correct you I would have to know which Arsenal games you have seen.

This season they have played some lovely stuff at times though. Song, Fabregas and Nasri when on form and playing together are often a joy to watch.

I seem to remember Arsenal tore us apart in the first half at Anfield in August.
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Watching Arsenal's very public meltdown over the last few weeks, I can't help but think they're the Charlie Sheen of English football.
