UEFA hand out bans to Wenger, Nasri and Joe Jordan

UEFA have announced that Arsene Wenger, Samir Nasri and Joe Jordan have all received one match bans in European competitions.

Wenger and Nasri’s punishment follows their comments towards referee Massimo Busacca at the end of their 3-1 defeat at the hands of Barcelona in the Champions League.

The Arsenal boss has also been fined €10,000 for improper conduct, the pair will now be absent for the Gunners’ next European tie.

On the other side of North London, Tottenham assistant manager Joe Jordan has been handed a one match ban following his involvement in a fracas with AC Milan’s Gennaro Gattuso at the San Siro. Jordan will be absent for Spurs’ Champions League quarter-final first leg tie.

The clubs can appeal against the rulings within three days of the decision.

Nice to see Jordan picking up a ban (although its far too light for my liking)...........out and out ****-stirrer (the Gattuso incident is just one of many).
Fed up hearing his mates in the media go on about what a gentleman he is.
