I like the way you've deliberately used a Scottishism to make it easier for I_R_W_T.

Although then again it could be considered patronising.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

What's the plural of M.P. then? I always get confused by pluralisation of abbreviations.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Nice link-up between Johnson and Young.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                      So...

Barry is captain, what a joke.

amazing isn't it - the song and dance made about needing a steady long term captain in place

1 game in and Big JT has been given the day off

Andy Carroll is set to start for England in their friendly clash with Ghana on Tuesday night.

Kenny Dalglish will have been pleased that his record signing was not risked against Wales at the weekend as he continues to recover from a thigh injury.

However, the No.9 will feature at Wembley against the African side, with Fabio Capello ringing the changes after Saturday's 2-0 win.

"We will play Cahill and Jagielka and Andy Carroll. Gareth Barry will be captain," said the Italian.
