His signing along with Torres in January probably cost them the title, it unsettled the balance of the team and has been shown with the mistakes he's made since he's been playing.

Abramovich cost them the title by bringing in those two signings in the Jan window .

Without that goal, the game might have been very different. It came after 30 seconds. That is my point.

Ultimately we don't know. But if his mistake cost them game today, then it has helped cost them the league too.
