Gray was utterly, utterly banal. He believed in his own volume. Sky doesn't miss him one bit. Maybe people were impressed by his shouting, by his fashionable Scottish accent, but he contributed nothing other than shouting, self-congratulation ("I told you") and matey, vapid and agenda-driven opinions.

WTF? When has anything scottish been 'fashionable' ?

I dont know if you'd call him a pundit as much as a presenter, but i always enjoyed James Richardson's work. Jamie Redknapp is a pillock, harmless enough, but he annoys me and his regular search for clarification is just irksome....

Can't stand having to listen to the likes of Joe Royle, Peter Reid etc when the Merseyside derby is on sky. Don't miss Andy Gray one bit!

I used to like Trevor Brooking as a co-commentator. Shame he left the media work for the FA.

I wouldn't say anyone is particularly outstanding but if I had to choose a couple I would say Souness, Danny Murphy (talks alot of sense) and Mick Mccarthy co-commentating is just funny as fook

I cant stand Garth Crooks. He strikes me as similar to Richard Keys - doesn't appear to have too good a football knowledge compared to everyone else but tries to get away with it.

i know your young but Crooks is an ex pro.

not that it means he knows anything (look at redknapp)
