He gets the majority of the big games, now if he is regarded as the best referee by the FA I don't have a problem with him getting more big games than other referees but they should be shared around to some extent, but he seems to have a monopoly on them.Originally posted by pezzzer View Postthe trouble is if webb wasnt chosen they wld b broardcasting the fact he is a manc, he's the supposed best in the country, tricky one for the F,A to call. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I can't understand why he even is considered a top ref. He was one of the worst referees in the WC for example and almost cost Spain the world cup title. One of the worst performances by a ref you will ever see.
He make big mistake after big mistakes and many of them biased because he clearly saw what happened, like De Jongs karate kick and Fabregas handball against us.
I didn't want to destroy the game......to even come out with something like this should have cost him his job, he should have been sacked. He almost as I said cost Spain the world cup title. That is destroying the game. That is biased refereeing. He admitted himself that he is prepared to be biased if it means the game won't be destroyed.
He should have been sacked. He isn't neutral and he admitted himself after the world cup final that he isn't neutral if it means the game will be destroyed.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

It's a bald thing. The Bald Mafia look after their own. It's why Reecie is a mod, why Picard is a well-paid Ferguson-loving hack and why everyone has to pretend Samuel L Jackson has a full head of hair and so isn't the uncool scalp-flanneller we all know he really is..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I am absolutely gutted that our record is about to be broken, but tbh they deserve it this year. The other PL teams have been utter dog**** and it wil lhave been the easiest title win for the Scum in years. IMO.
I have been consoling myself with the fact that it has taken Fergie 25 years to overhaul one of our records. A lifetime, a whole career, and yet they will only be 1 title ahead. There, that feels better. Maybe.

In fairness it's not just been this year, In 1990 we had 18 titles to their 7, like it or not 12 titles in 21 years is a fantastic achievement as much as it pains me to say it

The sad thing is in those 21 years we've only come close to stopping them on maybe 3 occasions, we've been relying on other teams to stop them for us, and as long as we did that this day was always going to come

sad but true, we've been hamstrung by poor owners, lack of investment and relying on others to do our job for us.
In a strange way us now chasing them in terms of titles might well be a good thing, rather than see that lead in number of titles slowly being whittled away we can now concentrate on over-taking them and "knocking them off their perch"

...and it is not like we are 11 titles behind them at the moment like they were in 1990. Well, not yet anyway.Originally posted by rcasemore View Post

The (only) good thing about them going ahead of us
is that we'll get extra satisfaction of knocking them off their perch when Kenny brings the titles home
