Why was rafa not liked by some managers??

Was woundering why some managers never liked rafa,
i recal a few came out the woodwork to jump on the rafa hate wagon ,fergi ,jose,allardyse,bruce just a few ,where they jealouse or something ,
just a question i never asked before ,but always woundered.

I think it's pretty clear. He never played the game with the press, gave them nothing, repeated identical answers 25 times, only ever gave one interview with the national press in all his time here. Also his methods confused many of them, they didn't understand them or him, so instead of trying to understand it they just lashed out instead.

Well Ginsoak liked him until he became a threat - like he does with every other manager.

Allardyce is just a xenophobic prick member of the good old boys club, doesnt like anyone who isnt english and part of the gang. Bruce, the same.

Mourinho didnt like him cos rafa dumped him out of the european cup.

Ferguson and Mourinho didn't like him because we were rivals IMO the likes of Redknapp, Allardyce, Bruce etc are all the LMA brigade and friends of Ferguson, him and his friends have alot of power and influence.

perhaps the first in britain to do zonal marking, but far from the first in football

also, I very much doubt that is reason enough for anyone to dislike an opposing manager. To me it probably boils down to the same reason why people tend to either hate/love Ferguson, Mourinho etc. succesfull managers tend to create that kind of black/white image around them. And especially the direct competition sees it that way...
