also - this true - last saturday in a local bar that shows the footie on dodgy channels - they had both our game and everton's game on at same time

so everyone piles in - most of the everton fans are in the back part watching there game - but were we where it had our game and the everton game on two big screens next too each other

so a few blues that we know sat in the same area amongst the reds - and everyone watched both games and in general there was just piss taking and banter.....even 'well played' from the blue noses when suarez did something good and vice versa

that was until....and I am not bull****ting the loudest cheer of the day by some distance - was West Brom scoring the winning penalty

It was a louder cheer than liverpool taking the lead or any of the everton goals

it came from the back part of the bar - and it was that embarrasing that all the blues in the front part apologised and shook their heads.

Besides being bigoted, its also extremely hypocritical and short sighted. Everton are in the ****, if they had a decent worldwide fanbase things would be different. To be successful in football you need to embrace fans from all corners of the country and all corners of the globe. You cannot survive and be successful without that. Whats more, if only locals can support Everton, then why have players from all over the world?
