All I've heard today is how outspoken he is, how he's not afraid of upsetting people. Yeah ****ing right. Can anyone imagine him criticising/upsetting Ferguson or any of his old mates? Me neither. He's no Roy Keane that's for sure.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I just tell my self it's not real, it's an abomination that cannot be watched, and make belive it's like the old days when there was just a couple of tv stations and i spent the afternoons switching between Dickie Davies and Frank Bough .

Then, what i manage to watch on my pc seems magnificent, and i feel lucky to be able to watch it, and the replays and all the other extra stuff available.

But nothing beats a live game with a crystal clear picture on a good tv i know, (except of course being there) but alas, paying sky for the priviledge seems a very high price to have to pay, if not for quality of production, but for morality reasons..especially in light of the news **** Face Ratty **** Head! will be joining them, and him now being announced as a Man Ure Ambassador today too. Stuffin his fat ugly face with Ferrero Roche's i bet; the ******!

I saw some of his media whoring when he first retired and am ashamed to say that I liked it. Felt dirty ever since but thought he was fairly articulate, interesting and his views on the game in general were quite insightful.

But he's still a proper ******. Shame on you sky.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

He's going to be the most annoying ****er on Sky, that in itself is a ****ing achievement!

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The timing between radio commentary and TV visuals is usually out, isn't it?

Although having said that, the sync between the TV commentary and the visuals is often out anyway. It's ridiculous at times - the sound is so far ahead it's like the commentator is predicting what's about to happen. Presumably it's so people don't have to deal with the delay of seeing someone with the ball and then a split-second later being told who it is but to me, even when the commentary isn't actually ahead, it just feels unnatural.
